Yep, the Islanders did everything "the right way"... you know other than actually CONTACT or show ANY interest in Nabakov starting on July 1 when he became a free agent, OFFER Nabakov a contract in the last 7 months, or even a larger contract than the Red Wings did when it was publicly acknowledged that they were in contract talks with him... But instead, in the last weeks the Islanders were under no pressure to trade away Roloson, but did; then saw once again that DiPietro is made of glass and they have absolutely no one capable of competing on the NHL level. And then ONLY when Nabakov signed on with Detroit for peanuts with the sole purpose of competing for a Cup did Snow say "Hey! Nabby would be a GREAT addition to the Islanders, I'll pick him off of waivers! Boy I'll bet he'll be glad to play for a team that has been in the cellar for the last 15 years for next to nothing!" Sounds like Snow did everything "the right way" doesnt it?
